Picture Perfect
A good picture doesn't stop at a pretty outfit! Hair, Make up, accessories and decor contributes just as much. At the event in collaboration with Wedding Sutra, We brought together an entire wedding look inspired by pieces from our new collection.
Out 2018 Bridal collection is a ode to the fusion of the West meeting the East with the arrival of the British in India, altering the traditional to a more global & contemporary outlook. Floral beading, Lace, Layers and Pearls come together with traditional silhouettes to evoke a feeling of nostalgia & romance.
Our lovely Muses for the night include real Brides to be and a glimpse at a few looks from our Bridal 2018 collection. Additionally we also experimented with wedding decor for the first time and created a decor look to go with the theme of the entire collection.

Our second lovely muse -Maia Sethna a Fashion & Life style blogger, likes outfits which are a bit more dramatic. She has an extremely fair skin tone and prefers Jewel tones to Pastels. We styled her in a Ultra-Violet Organza lehenga with multi coloured floral embroidery. Each flower is hand embroidered with a mix of beads, thread work, fabric flowers, pearls and diamonds.LEKHA SHAH from the Cut Collective gave her dark smokey eyes and a messy up do with stands of baby's Breath and a brilliant Pink on her lips, that popped against the jewel toned lehenga.
Bride to be Aaliya Nensey from "The Image Code" loves feminine styles and Pastel colours. We styled her in a gorgeous Pink and Silver lehenga with fabric flower and delicate beaded detailing. layers of Net underneath create the natural looking flow and fall of the bridal Lehenga.
LEKHA SHAH gave Aaliya a pulled back hair style with a soft braid and natural make up. She also wore a lovely diamond and Ruby set by NASCENT JEWELLERS and a Silver fringe bag by ART APPAREL & ACCESSORIES.
Our first gorgeous muse Bride to be Sanjana Batra who is also a brilliant stylist, has a very classic & effortless style herself. She doesn't feel like herself in an OTT outfit or very bold hair and make up. so we took the same approach to style her in this Lilac Lace lehenga with a contrasting Pink dupatta and three-dimensional floral embroidery on the Lehenga. If you look closely each layer has different detailing and took almost 2,000 hours to be completed! The Lace itself has minute detailing and a lovely scalloped edge so we accentuated that with a pretty beaded border. For Sanjana's Hair & Make up we chose to keep it minimal. The talented VARSHA TILOKANI created a soft smokey eye and a neutral lip, which keep the foundation light and natural.
Table Decor
For the table decor we used shades of Pink, White & Lilac . Luscious Satin table over lay with a fringe trimming and a beaded table runner down the centre. The centrepiece had a grand Silver elephant sitting in a bed of flowers. We used an elephant as it with the beaded elements, pastels and Pearls signify the true blend of East and West that the entrance of the British in India brought. Pastel candles in Light Pink and Lilac adorned with satin Ribbons were around the centre piece. We used a 3D flower napkin holder to show off elements of embroidery which will be in the new collection.
